Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: April 22, 2026 · Version 1.0
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules you must follow when using Quoteloop. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account, with or without notice.
1. What You Must Do
- Be honest. Use Quoteloop under your real business name. Don't impersonate another contractor or business.
- Be licensed. If your state or jurisdiction requires a contractor license for the work you're quoting, maintain it. Include accurate license numbers on quotes.
- Get consent. Before sending quotes via SMS or email through Quoteloop, confirm the recipient has consented to being contacted for this purpose.
- Review before you send. Quoteloop drafts quotes with AI. You review, edit if needed, and approve every quote before it goes to a customer.
- Honor your quotes. Once a customer accepts a quote you sent, you're responsible for the work at the quoted price, subject to any change-order terms you've disclosed.
- Respect opt-outs. If an end-user asks to stop receiving messages, respect that request across all communication channels within 10 business days.
2. What You Must Not Do
Quote misrepresentation
- Don't send quotes for work you are not licensed or qualified to perform
- Don't misrepresent materials, warranties, timelines, or scope
- Don't send quotes for fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited services

3. Reporting Violations
If you encounter a quote, message, or contractor behavior that appears to violate this AUP, report it to [email protected]. Homeowners who received a quote they did not want can opt out by replying STOP to any SMS, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or emailing us directly.
4. Enforcement
Quoteloop may take any action we deem appropriate for AUP violations, including:
- Warning you about the behavior
